We are a small hobby kennel outside Oswego, New York that was established in 1995. We specialize in the quality, soundness and temperament of the Shetland Sheepdog.

 

We purchased our first sheltie in February of 1993 as a pet. Crosscloud Jaime's Shelbie CD CGC "Shelbie" After a couple months we started to go to Obedience classes and then we were hooked. Jennifer was a member of the Local 4-H dog club, and showed in Obedience & Jr. Handling at our County Fair, State Fair, and at local matches. Jennifer started showing in AKC juniors competition in November of 1995. It was at a local match where we were introduced to Amanda Inzinna (Canami Shelties) and her young niece, Erin Schaefer (now Erin Rebello).

 

After talking to Amanda for several months she in Feb. 1996 she stopped by for a visit and brought along 2 litters of puppies with her. Both litters were stunning, but Jennifer wanted something else. It was then that she brought in Canami's Passed On Bi RN CGC "Bratt" who became our AOAC foundation bitch. A month later we started to show in conformation and Obedience. "Shelbie" finished her CD in 3 back to back trials in April of 1996.

 

In the winter of 1996/1997 we purchased a sable bitch, Tam-Ann StoneyAcre Faith "Faith" who became our Sable Foundation bitch. After purchasing Faith, we noticed that she was a niece to our Shelbie.  "Faith" had 3 litters before being retired in February 2003. Out of those 3 litters she produced 3 Canadian Champions, 1 more pointed, and 2 more that could have finished.

 

The majority of our dogs can be traced back to either "Bratt" or "Faith" at least once sometimes more. After years of trying to combine our two foundations lines, we have finally been successful! Through the years we have added some new lines to combine with what we are already working with.

 

Each litter we breed is thoroughly planned out. We try to make sure Sire and Dam have OFA Hips, Eyes and Vwd testing done before breeding, but sometimes it's not possible. All pet puppies are sold on a Spay/Neuter Contract with AKC Limited Registration. All puppies Show/Breeding/Performance/Pet prospects are sold with a written Health Guarantee and a written 2 yr. Guarantee from any hereditary defects. Every puppy born here will have been wormed 3-4 times, Health check and will have their 1st shot before going to its new home.

 

 

Our adult dogs are all identified by either a Tattoo or microchip, most of them by both methods.

 

 

Conformation is our specialty, but we also do Rally, Obedience and Agility with our dogs, and compete at AKC Trials. We try go to many shows around New York State as possible, in the past we have done select shows in Ontario, Canada and have traveled to the ASSA National and CSSA Nationals.
